Hong Kong Promenade Tapestry
Size: L272 H220 D0.5 cm
Hong Kong means “fragrant harbor,” so it's no surprise that the city's flag also features the beautiful bauhinia flower, the Hong Kong orchid.
The port city itself is shown through undulating lines, and its business image is shown through the stylistic depiction of skyscrapers.
Asian roots are reflected in the painting through stylized umbrellas.
An interesting point: the rays of the Sun are a link to the painting “Venice Theater”.
The intertwined couples walking through the city reflect the crowdedness of the city and emphasize the multifaceted nature of human relationships. It is impossible to stay alone in this city for a long time, everyone can find a life partner here.

This series was designed to show different cities and countries through the traveler's feelings about a particular city and the relationships between people. The cities are shown here not through recognizable images of buildings, but through patterns, symbols, feelings and emotions. All symbols are delicately woven into the images, leaving the viewer the chance to find the hidden signs themselves.
By connecting everything that has been found and seen by the viewer, he indirectly becomes a participant in the action taking place in the tapestry.
The faces of the characters are half depicted, this is the signature style of the artist, recognizable all over the world. It also symbolizes dualism, the opposition of mind and body, mental and physical, soul and physical body.
As an accent element, in each of the three compositions we see a golden square. It symbolizes the soul and also represents the permanence of our view of the world, with Rhea, the Mother of the gods, and the four corners being air (Hera), water (Aphrodite), earth (Demeter), and fire (Hestia).
Each tapestry is a unique creation of combining the skill of drawing and the thoughts of the artist with the painstaking labor of master weavers, which took about a year to make.
