A limited-edition (1 of 5) bespoke marble mural mosaic "The Empress's Glade" by Alexander’s Collection. Featuring a hand-drawn lily of the valley motif in 3 mm micro-tesserae, the polished 4 mm marble surface is designed for high-end architectural applications, including luxury flooring, spa interiors, and grand murals. Fully customizable in size and palette for seamless integration into elite residential or commercial projects.
"The Empress's Glade" is a monumental marble mural that marks a breakthrough in contemporary architectural art, bringing the "Couture Art" philosophy of Alexander’s Collection to the global luxury market. Originally conceived by Chief Designer Alexander Anisimov, this design traces its lineage to the Imperial House of Romanov and Empress Maria (wife of Paul I), whose preference for lilies of the valley over diamonds redefined 18th-century court elegance.
This museum-grade mosaic is a rare niche in stone craftsmanship, executed by the world’s last remaining master artisans capable of "painting with marble." Utilizing hand-drawn sketches rather than digital renderings, the work achieves a "living" quality and incredible optical illusions. Each panel features micro-tesserae as small as 3 mm, hand-selected and fitted with surgical precision to eliminate visible gaps. Polished to a mirror-like finish, the 4 mm thick marble surface transforms architectural spaces—both interior and exterior—into a vibrant, neoclassical sanctuary of light and historical narrative.
