Founder's Profile

Architect. Visionary. Collector
Founder of Alexander’s Collection (Hong Kong)
“Whatever is not possible for the majority, is absolutely possible for a small group of aesthetic and enthusiastic people.” — Alexander Anisimov (Alex Sander)
For over 30 years, Alexander has operated as an architect, visionary, and generator of conceptual ideas within the hyper-luxury space. His professional journey represents a sequential evolution from designing monumental architectural volumes to manifesting a global cultural mission: rescuing the aesthetics of fine art from commercial decline, reviving endangered craftsmanship, and establishing a fundamentally new model of international corporate philanthropy.
With a fundamental education in architecture, Alexander perceives space as a unified, monolithic work of art (Gesamtkunstwerk). The foundation for realizing his ideas is his own Atelier in Hong Kong, which serves as the brand's international operational hub. Over three decades, Alexander has formed an exclusive pool of partner, closed workshops across Asia, uniting unique, hereditary masters of manual, bespoke labor whose capabilities are now completely lost in Europe.
MANIFESTO AND MISSION:
FROM HIGH DECORATION TO ART COUTURE
In the modern era, the art industry has degenerated into assembly-line production of interior decor to appease the mass market. Humanity's true masterpieces and relics have ended up locked away in museum vaults, isolated from the world.
Alexander’s mission is to tear down this wall and restore art to its sacral, uncompromising status through two unique techniques:
-
Museum-Level Silk Tapestries (Art Couture): Masterpieces of monumental hand-embroidery using pure silk, gold, and silver threads, inlaid with natural pearls. Each canvas is a global unique piece (1/1), a jewelry-like, three-dimensional interpretation of hidden treasures from the archives of great museums and legendary luxury brands. This is not wall decoration; it is the return of couture art to the lives of a new generation of collectors.
-
The Graphic Art of Marquetry: Monumental paneling executed in the most complex marquetry technique using valuable and rarest wood species, transforming structural elements of architecture into one-of-a-kind collectible lots and independent art assets.
THE PHILOSOPHY OF 50/50 PATRONAGE
This project goes far beyond the boundaries of traditional business. The activities of Alexander’s Collection are built upon the fundamental principles of philanthropy: 100% of the investment required to create these unique collections is funded by the corporate capital of the Hong Kong firm. Concurrently, exactly half of the net profit (50%) from the sale of each art object—whether through private viewings or auctions at leading auction houses—is officially directed straight to the funds of partner museums. These earmarked donations are specifically designated to finance restoration workshops and preserve national cultural heritage.
THE PHILOSOPHY OF SPACE: ART GALLERY AND ATELIER
The entire international ecosystem of Alexander’s Collection is divided into two fundamental zones:
-
ART GALLERY — "Where Art Lives" A space for the manifestation of unique hand-embroidery and marquetry masterpieces (1/1), establishing absolute provenance and the ultimate prestige status for the property.
-
ATELIER — "Where Art is Born" A laboratory of architectural tailoring and spatial customization. This is where ultra-luxury architectural concepts are generated, and interior items are brought to life, released in strictly limited editions of 5 to 10 units.
INTERNATIONAL SCALE AND RECOGNITION
Alexander’s architectural scale and the uncompromising level of his art objects are verified at the highest state and international levels. His signature creativity and design have formed the foundation of highly complex projects realized in direct partnership with:
-
The Versace Fashion House;
-
The Royal House of the Emirates (UAE);
-
The Administration of the President of Kurdistan;
-
Mega-superyacht interior design.
ARCHITECTURAL KNOW-HOW AND SPEED OF EXECUTION
As an architect, Alexander has developed a unique tool—a digital library of 800 turnkey concepts and architectural solutions. These were purposefully created for a private international aristocratic club project and the private residences of its prospective members. Each space in this living catalog of innovations and world-firsts is modeled around a central art object—a focal point (eye-catcher) that dominates the entire volume of the room.
The technological triumph of the Hong Kong Atelier is the LEGO-style assembly system introduced by Alexander. All complex elements of custom architectural finishing (marquetry paneling, marble mosaics, Lalique-style cast crystal) are first assembled and hand-fitted in the workshops. They are then delivered to European sites and mounted without the use of nails or glue by his own supervisor installation team ("power men"). This architectural and engineering matrix allows villas to be transformed into unique, museum-grade collectible art assets while remaining within the standard construction budgets of developers.
Alexander acts as an independent investor, creator, and Guest General Art Director, establishing elite, closed B2B alliances at the Advisory Board level with European business leaders and guardians of cultural heritage.
