For our US-based collectors, we utilize Chapter 97 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS Code 9701.10.00), which allows for duty-free entry of original hand-executed paintings and drawings. By providing precise "Informational Materials" documentation under 50 U.S.C. §1702(b)(3), we ensure that your masterpiece is exempt from standard import tariffs, preserving the value of your investment.
Art Courier-on-Board:
We offer a dedicated specialist who personally accompanies the work from our vault to your residence. This "hand-to-hand" protocol bypasses automated sorting hubs, eliminating the risk of mechanical damage or unauthorized customs inspections.
Financial Transparency:
- Included in Service: We manage all export licenses, cultural heritage permits, museum-grade packaging, and expert customs brokerage.
- Collector’s Responsibility: While original art is often duty-free (as in the USA), collectors remain responsible for local administrative fees such as the Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) or regional VAT/GST where applicable. Our concierge team provides a detailed estimate of these nominal costs prior to dispatch.
